Treatment
Options
At Kidz Teeth, we offer tailored treatment approaches based on your child’s needs, comfort level, and the complexity of care required.
Local Anaesthetic (In the Dental Chair)
We use local anaesthetic to numb the treatment area, ensuring your child feels no pain during their procedure. Instead of the traditional syringe—which can be uncomfortable and intimidating—we use The Wand, a computerised local anaesthetic delivery system.
This technology:
-
Delivers anaesthetic at a controlled pressure, making the experience more comfortable
-
Uses a pen-like plastic handpiece that looks like a “magic wand,” helping to reduce anxiety
-
Is ideal for children, especially those who are nervous about injections
-
To ease discomfort, a numbing gel is first applied to the gums before the anaesthetic is placed.
Under General
Anaesthesia
-
All treatment, including x-rays, are completed in one session
-
Your child is fully asleep and intubated, ensuring complete comfort
-
Procedures are carried out by our specialist paediatric dentist and an experienced anaesthetist
-
The treatment takes place in a registered day surgery facility
-
This option helps reduce the emotional and behavioural fatigue that can result from repeated appointments.
Fee Structure
When treatment under general anaesthesia is required, there are three separate fees involved
Flexible Payment Solutions
